BOUT TIME LIMITS

(b 205)  Bouts fenced for 1 touch in Epee have a time limit of 3 minutes of fencing time.

(b 206)  Bouts fenced for 5 touches in all three weapons time limit of 3 minutes of fencing time.      

(b 207)  Bouts fenced for 10 touches in all three weapons have two periods of fencing, each of 3 minutes of fencing time, with a 1 minute rest between the periods.

(b 208)  Bouts fenced for 15 touches in foil and epee have three periods of fencing, each of 3 minutes of fencing time, with a 1 minute rest between the periods.  Bouts fenced for 15 touches in sabre are fenced for two periods, with a 1 minute rest after one fencer scores 8 touches, and a total fencing time of 6 minutes.

(b 209)  Bouts for three weapons have three periods of fencing, one period for each weapon, each of three minutes of fencing time, with a 1 minute rest between the periods.

(b 210)  Bouts in team matches have a time limit of 3 minutes of fencing time.
